New Tiktok trend

Ive recently discovered a trend on tiktok where the whole clip is just someone frozen mid walk or mid run, with some humerous caption. Whats even better is i found quite a good example to demonstrate the trend, with none other than Scarlett Johansson doing the trend.

The first issue I see is that the "sound effect" part is waay too short for the freeze to take full affect. The second is the person being filmed usually breaks character and laughs before its over because of the ridiculousness of it all. It would be really great if they were doing something, froze in place, and then the camera panned around them for a more lengthy period. That being said; here's hoping this takes off like the mannequin challenge which it seems to be mimicking.

FWIW,I would rank whatever we are calling this behind both The Mannequin Challenge and the Stop!WaitAMinute Challenge but well above both the Pause Challenge and the Barbie Challenge.The fact that Scarlett Johansson did it almost makes up for the fact that she did not do The Mannequin Challenge seven years ago.Almost.And I know it is only five seconds long,but the sight of gymnast Olivia Dunne frozen in her leotard is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen in my life.

This morning I started watching several but the Tiktok application has a problem the further you go it returns you to the "for you" videos and to locate those videos again so far away is a pain

This Trend dont have a name or hashtag ... only the sound, right?
Ok, you can display the videos which use this sound ... but you cant filter the videos and new videos wont be displayed first .... when i try to go through the videos at a certain point the app doesnt load anymore or brings you back automatically goes back to the beginning. The same problem when you use tiktok on your PC... very annoying when I already had a few thousand videos, this happens twice now ...

Do you know a method to filter this videos of this trend though? I`m afraid of we will miss a lot of good videos by that problem

Unfortunately as it stands this trend has no name, but mind you it is also a fairly new trend (only abt 6 days old as of my posting this) so hopefully soon a name will be made. Ive seen some people put hashtags like frozen or statue in the caption but i doubt that helps track videos down

I feel your pain. I must've made it through a 1,000 videos, scrolling over who appeared attractive or in yoga pants. I made it to the same point three times and it sent me back to the very first video, or froze up entirely. I was pissed, so I shut the laptop off, started all over, and literally left a water bottle on the keyboard so it would scroll downward by itself while I left and made supper. I came back and it worked! Entirely new videos! Unfortunately, it froze-up again after an hour or so. I threw in the towel and went to bed. I'm also starting to notice videos that have nothing to do with freezing whatsoever - people that just want views. That's what killed the mannequin challenge (and covid masks). Maybe you have to be a member of tiktok to view the latest videos posted first. Have no idea how that works.

Definitely liked the treadmill used to enhance the frozen aspect!
